"In '69 I had a show in the National Gallery of Canada, on the whole lower floor; it was total corporate environment. We rearranged the museum entirely, built office walls ,hired secretaries, had a president's office. People would come in and they would go back out, and look to see if they were really in the National Gallery. It was ta total change of art for them. A real estate man came in and asked, 'How did you rent this building?'"
